Monster Hunter Now prepares players for the Chameleos with Fire Element Quests
- Chameleos may be hard to spot, but it’s swiftly approaching in Monster Hunter Now, and it’s time to get ready. Although this creature is vulnerable to fire, simply torching everything won’t guarantee success. Instead, tackle the Fire Element Quests to apply firepower more strategically.
- From May 19th to 25th, a wave of giant dragons will descend for what seems like a fiery BBQ under clear skies. Fortunately for you, they drop valuable materials essential for upgrading your fire-based weapons. Even better—during the event, any crafting using these monster drops will receive a performance boost. The stronger the monster, the greater the bonus.
- Forest habitats will experience a surge in sightings of Azure Rathalos, Glavenus, and the classic Rathalos. Over in the deserts, expect encounters with Basarios, Anjanath, and once again, Glavenus. Meanwhile, Aknosom will be lounging in the swamps and tundras. The real star of the event, however, is the Silver Rathalos—your headline hunt—appearing in both forests and swamps.
- Get ready to be overwhelmed by Glavenus, as they’ll also be making appearances in the event-exclusive Hunt-a-thons—alongside both Silver and Azure Rathalos. The real highlight, though, is the increased rewards. Defeating any of these dragons will yield 50% more materials than usual. Additionally, completing a Hunt-a-thon offers a chance to earn 10 Rarity 1 materials as a bonus.
- Rounding out the event are the limited-time quests, tasking players with taking down Silver and Azure Rathalos—along with a few less intimidating foes. Successfully completing these challenges will earn you a trove of valuable rewards, including Zenny, Earth Crystals, Silver Rathalos Plates, and more.
- Monster Hunter Now is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
